Who Are We?

The Silicon Prairie Theatre Company is youth theatre company founded in November of 2015. Every element of the theatre we create is done by a young person. Our members range from ages 14-18 and are each devoted and skilled in their respective fields- whether it be directing, acting, designing and everything in between.

Artistic Director – Mackenzie Davenport

Mackenzie Davenport is a junior at Lincoln High School. He has been a member of the Lincoln Theatre community for five years.  He has portrayed many roles, most notably,  Ponyboy in The Outsiders (Haymarket Theatre), The Player in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead (Lincoln High School), and Sidney Bruhl in Deathtrap (SPTC). He is a Junior Representative on the Lincoln High Theatre Board and the Youth Representative on the Haymarket Theatre Board of Directors. He is the founding Artistic Director of the Silicon Prairie Theatre Company, and directed the company’s inaugural production, Boeing Boeing as well as it’s production of Don’t Dress for Dinner. He won a Nebraska Young Artist’s Award for acting. He enjoys directing, acting, producing, sound design and fight choreography. Mackenzie hopes to become a professional director after college.

Executive Director – Stacia Ogburn

Stacia Ogburn is a junior at Lincoln High school and is one of the junior representatives of the Lincoln High theatre board. She’s also been on the improv team for three years and is the current troupe leader of the improv team. Her most recent roles include Cassius in Julius Caesar and Tillie in The Effects of Gamma Rays on Man in the Moon Marigolds , she’s also involved in the Lincoln High sketch troupe and the costume crew. Stacia is the founding Executive Director of Silicon Prairie Theatre Company and has acted and sound designed for the company. Stacia is President-Elect on the Lincoln High Theatre Board and would like to pursue theatre in college.

General Manager – Isabel Kettler

Isabel Kettler is a Junior at Lincoln High School, the PR Representative/Historian for the LHS Theatre Board, and the General Manager of Silicon Prairie Theatre. Isabel  is the Vice President-Elect of Theatre Board and the future Head Writer of Lincoln High’s Sketch Troupe. She is a two year member of the improv team, a costumer, a stage manager, and her most recent acting roles include Dolly in Hello Dolly, Marc Antony in Julius Caesar, and Beatrice in The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the-Moon Marigolds. 

Co-Technical Director – Cole Shank

Cole is a Junior at Lincol High School. He has done set construction and ligh design for a myriad of Lincoln High productions. Cole is a Co-Technical Director of the Silicon Prairie Theatre Company. He has light designed for all three of Silicon’s shows and plans to be involved in many more. Cole is interested in physics, and plans to elaborate on that interest in college.

Co-Technical Director – Lily Lundine

Lily is a junior at Lincoln High School who is highly involved in theatre. She does tech and is one of the Technical Representative at LHS, and is Co-Technical Director of Silicon Prairie Theatre Company. She is the Technical Director of LHS Sketch Troupe, and an IB production of The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the-Moon Marigolds, two student-led theatre productions based out of Lincoln High. Lily has also done tech at an array of theatres in town, including Tada Productions and the Haymarket Theatre.

Associate Artistic Director – Jackson Mikkelsen

Jackson Mikkelsen is a Sophomore at Lincoln High School. Jackson is involved in theatre and show choir at Lincoln High, and plans on pursuing acting as a career. Some of his past credits include Hello, Dolly (Barnaby) and Bye, Bye Birdie (Randolph) at Lincoln High, The Giver (Jonas) and Reviving Ophelia (Alex) at the Lincoln Community Playhouse, and Deathtrap (Clifford) with SPTC. Jackson enjoys painting, long walks in the woods, and fancy soda.

Associate Executive Director – Katie Brinkman

Katie Brinkman is a sophomore at Lincoln High School and is involved in theatre and music throughout the community. She enjoys tech, stage management, and acting within the Lincoln High Theatre department as well as with SPTC. She is a member of the LHS tech team and has been on production crew for multiple shows for the department. Her acting credits include being a member of Illusion Theatre and Minnie Fay in Hello Dolly (LHS). Katie is the Associate Executive Director of Silicon Prairie Theatre Company and has been a sound designer, prop designer, and a stage manager for the company.

Public Relations – Carter Yost

Carter Yost is a sophomore at Lincoln High school. He has been involved with theatre and the arts for much of his life and continues to be an advocate for their strength and impact. Carter is a sophomore representative on the Lincoln high theatre board. He is also a founding member of Silicon Prairie Theatre Company, as well as the current Public Relations officer. Carter is an actor, comedian, and amateur professional.

Secretary – Zymmir Rose-McNeeLee

Zymmir Rose-Mcneelee is an actress in Lincoln, Nebraska, and is in her third year at Lincoln High Theatre. She is the secretary at the Silicon Prairie Theatre Company. Along with plays Zymmir has been in a number of independent film projects. Zymmir has eleven years of musical training including piano, violin and percussion. She has lettered in music and theatre and is also a member of the International Thespian Society. Zymmir enjoys baking, acting and reading.
